Oslo has fallen a couple of slots on the list of the world’s most expensive
cities to live in. Norway’s capital ended up as number 15, down two since
last year.
According to the annual survey «Cost of living» conducted by the American
company Mercer Human Resource Consulting, Norway is listed as number 15 over
the world’s most expensive cities.
The survey has evaluated 144 cities around the world based on the prices of
food, transportation, clothes, housing costs and entertainment.
The most expensive city in the world is Tokyo, followed by London and
Moscow. The cheapest city is Paraguay’s capital Asunción for the second
consecutive year.
